Incredible sand and gold painting technique by Tim Bengel:
Tim Bengel See you in New York City!
Y'all know he uses photos (taken by other people) then uses them and puts sand on them with glue relief and such... cool, yes. But he is still using stolen artwork, this would be much better if he used his actual work or photos....
Spray glue on the panel. Sprinkle white sand on negative areas. Apply gold leaf. Cover with black sand then shake it off. Probably uses some sort of glue resist where he wants no material on the panel. Interesting technique but the images are kitche. Much prefer Richter or Polke.
Lol. Vincent Van Gough was hated for his art style. Look at him now ( I mean he is still dead, but I digress). You do you. Marcel Duchamp was also loathed. Still created his own style that some adore. Who knows, someone else might like it.
Art has no rules okay but It would be interesting if you'd just tell people image is already done instead of that. After the sand went off the tower, cloud images just appeared. Its hard to be known as an artist i know the struggles but dude cmon dont lie. Its fake. Nice try
It still looks like the 5€ IKEA "Art" paintings.... Sry
Everyone is so damn negative these days. Who cares how he created it?! I wouldn’t be able to do what he did. Not to mention if you really think about it, no thought or idea is original. It came from someone more likely before us so get over it. Just appreciate what someone took the time to create! Sheesh. Rant over.
His concept on art is Beautiful, I love the way he views art and couldn't agree more. It's definitely a great way to express yourself or have fun while being creative. I must applaud him for such outstanding and breathtaking art pieces though. I wish nothing but more success for him, his talent will definitely take him far in life and make plenty proud as well as inspired, I know I definitely am ❤👏☺
To whom ever told you that you wouldn't make it.. They failed miserably.. These are the most amazing pieces of art I have ever seen and to make it with materials like no one before make you even more unique ❤❤ your going to make history!
Artists "steal" from existing ideas all the time. It's how they use those techniques to make their own compositions. So while his choice of words were not the best, this guy's work is still awesome
This is wonderful!!!! I love his spirit and in my opinion, his work is beautiful. Excited that he was bold enough to use his gifts! 👏👏👏 Wish him all the best going forward!
Well you forget about the negative comments... "ONLY A TRUE ARTIST CAN APPRECIATE THE OTHER ARTIST'S WORKS" you did an amazing job!!! You are an artist only a true artist could know the beauty of your art !!!... Ignore the rest , take the best !!!! Expecting more from you !!! All the best for your upcoming art works... Waiting to see them.... Good luck !!!
Incredible! This is how I feel about making jewelry. There are probably a million jewelry artists out there, a lot of them better than me, but it is my passion. It's what keeps me going, keeps me sane, and partly, the reason I live each day, to create. So I will never give up. Even if I never sell another piece as long as I live. Because creating gives me joy! Thanks for the validation of my feelings.

Please let me know if you're coming to Miami I would love to be there I always took the challenge when they told me that I could not and as you surprised so many I have been able to do the same not as dramatically as your reveal I have in my own way and that's truly what it's about thank you for your diligence and not accepting no
Sadly art does have a set of rules. Methods can be infinite, but composition, contrast, color theory. Bunch of math actually, actually all of it is math and also if you are going to steal, you need to know that you need to steal from more than one, from many so no one would know it was stolen or it becomes something new.
I am assuming the black may be charcoal? Salt and glue sounds really interesting. Does not look like he has drawn anything before starting the idea. Looked again and may be black sand?
Okay for one he didn't come up with the technic him self. People have been doing art like that for years !!! 😂 you can't call it your own technic if everyone else has already did it before you haha
People is so easy to convince.
If someone more known and famous in the art industry comes and says this is a piece of shit, you'll inmediatly share that thought.
To do it precisely is intense. Takes a lot of patience. I am amazed by this guy's work. Although, what happened with the left over sand?
Lol 😂 This is not a new concept or technique.. kids over here have been sand painting since they were 3. You find these all over the malls here.. and it's an activity parents do with young kids or older kids age 6 and up, do on their own. Sand painting has been around in Singapore for over 30 years.
I bet you $ 13456324567 dollars you didn't read that number.
You just skipped right over it.
You didn't even realize I put a letter in it.
No I didn't but you went back and looked.

Catherine Saba Alessandria Garza I saw the gold leafing and almost had a panic attack because I got flashbacks of prop shop.
Auto sharing on Facebook is a bit trickier these days, to say the least. No matter what plugin you use to auto share posts, you should check to see if things are going to break as the old API is being shut down.
